California Cool Wedding Dress Inspiration

I am loving Venue Safari’s post about the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara! Even though it is right on the beach,  it has a sophistication and style all its own.

I would wear a wedding dress that has more structure that what you would usually envision for a beach wedding, but still done in light fabrics like tulle and silk that aren’t too heavy and will flutter in the ocean breeze.

Watters Tyler Strapless A-Line Dress

This dress has a classic A-line shape with a slight sweetheart neckline, but the origami-like fold of the organza make it different and oh so elegant. I would consider adding a sash to coordinate with your wedding colors to switch things up at the reception.

Vera Wang Strapless Tulle Mermaid Wedding Dress

The beautiful gown from Vera Wang has a great mermaid silhouette, but is done in a light and airy chiffon that would be perfect for an outdoor ceremony.

Vera Wang Strapless Pleated Sheath Wedding Dress

How stunning is the pleating and cut of this sheath gown? It is totally unexpected and would be beautiful in a diamond white color. Since the dress doesn’t have a lot of fabric or a long train, it would be light and comfortable to wear.

Mira Zwillinger Sweetheart Silk and Lace Dress

Slightly more formal than the others, this dress has a darling lace sweetheart bodice, bow belt and sweeping silk skirt that is elegant without being stuffy.

What would you wear if you were getting married at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara?
