2012 Grammys – Wedding Worthy Dresses
While the Grammys may not seem like the most obvious place to look for wedding inspiration, there were definitely some romantic dresses on last night’s red carpet.
This dress was a departure for Katy Perry, who usually rocks a more off-beat look. She gave it her own twist with the blue hair, but I think this would be an amazing gown for a bride who wanted an alternative to white.
Gold and blush tones were a major trend on this year’s Grammy red carpet, and Miranda Lambert looked stunning in this custom Pavoni gown. I could see a similar style at a garden wedding.
The color of this dress looked amazing on Kelly Rowland, and there was a ruffle down the back that perfectly accented her posterior! This would be a great choice for a bride who wants something fashion forward, but still romantic.
Zuhair Murad is one of Taylor Swifts go-to designers for the red carpet, and this gold confection looks great on her. While it may be a little over-the-top for a wedding, the silhouette is a newer one that would lend itself well to a regal wedding dress.
For the grooms out there – Adam Levine was rocking the 3 piece suit! I loved the navy color and bright tie and pocket square, all by Tom Ford. Who says men’s formal wear has to be boring?
